Nov3rd-Morning campers,I was up at 6 feeling a bit rough and with a throat like sandpaper so i thought i`d write a bit in our news section.Good fun last night at the Station Redcar(always is)and it was great to see a good crowd and a lot of familiar faces.We had a problem losing one of the speakers mid set but we managed to cobble something together to get us through.I dunno eh?.Glad you liked the new songs especially She sells sanctuary with our Traci taking the lead.Top banana as they say in the business.Anyway thanks to John and Linda,Meg(my next door neighbour),Alan,Fiona,Sarah,Kim,Val,Lee,some of the lads from work who came,Big Red,Tezza and his mates,Eddie and his missus,Alan Dunc,Our Emma,Tom and the student house collective,Matty(sorry m8,next time we`ll get you up on the kit)and the station regulars we know for making it a great night and having a good laugh with us.Bye for now.......
June25th-Hi all.Exciting times for the band at the min,some great gigs at the Office followed by the Three tuns at Gateshead(Thanks to John and his posse for makin the trip up from Smogland).Next up is the Cornshed at Sexhow farm near Hutton Rudby and then the next day its the Grand at Bishop Auckland which is always a cracker.After all that we have our mini festival period were we`ll be headlining both the Broken Piston MCC rally on the 6th july followed by Sounds in the grounds at Forcett hall near Richmond on the 7th.Can`t wait us like.
May14th-Hello hello.Well,What a cracking weekend we had at the Mag No 1 bike rally.Beer,music and mayhem was the order of the day and apart from the weather it was a total hoot.We played on the friday and as you can see from the photos on the front page a great night was had by all,with us and Heaven Forbid on top form.Hopefully we`ll get asked to do it again next year.Many thanks to you all for the support on the night,Ann and Stu for the photos,Derek and Liz,Big T,Alex from Heaven Forbid(who i think put our name forward),Paul and Sharon,Dave for his hunter gathering skills,Linda who we tried our best to keep warm and last but not least Mr Jean Pierre Geest,who is now the bands official caterer.

Dec17th-Ho! ho! ho! and all that,Well thats it for another year,Tis now holiday time for the fizzies and our weary troops can now take a rest and enjoy the festive cheer hic!!Thanks to you all that came to the Staithes club gig which felt more like a fan club gig.(nice acrobatics Dave!!)This has been our busiest year and was at times hard for some of the guys to do stuff outside the band,So next year we`ll be doin slightly less gigs to make room for hols and other stuff.May we say a big thank you to everyone who followed us and supported us this year,"you know who you are" and we`ll see you in 2007 and lastly MERRY CHRISTMAS..............Cheers.................Chris,Alan,Traci,Soss.........................
Nov27th-Hi all,A mad night at the Crown in Brotton last night(always is) and thanks to landlord Ray for playing the steward keeping the throngs back from knockin our p.a. speakers over.I think that same lad must have fell into Alans monitor about 6 times.Still,was a good laugh,if a bit hairy!!.We have a gap now until the Caroline gig which will be another good night and Traci`s took the kids down to Landan for an oleeday to see the queen and all that stuff.TTFN.
Oct1st-Hey were back,all tanned and stuff like.Many many thanks to youz at the Grand in Bishop for a cracking gig last night.It was a bit warm like.We`ll see yas in feb next year.Oh and glad you liked the wigs,what a larf eh?Bye for now.
Aug21st-Hi all,Well we`ve got a break now for hols and stuff.Mr and mrs axeman are off to the leeds festy,for 4 days of music,tents and beer and then buggering off to Turkey to learn some weird scales,While Alan`s jettin out to Las Vegas where he`ll be continuing his residency at Ceasars Palace as top lounge act Kirk Santana.Which leaves our Traci and Soss,defensive rocks that they are to look after the fort and carry on experimenting with their new funk/folk crossover band,Funkport convention!!.Next gig is the Lord Nelson,Stockton where we hope to have a new number in.Bye for now.
July31st-What a weekend with two crackin gigs,firstly the Office in South Shields which is defo one of the best venues in the north east.Many thanks to Colin and Nige for their hospitality and thanks again to Col for getting us a monster sound with that space station sized p.a. of his.Top night and hopefully we can get back there soon.Now onto Laings in Sunderland, another great night was had by all.Thanks to the guy from punk covers band 1977 and to Linda from the Sunderland Echo who came down to see us. Some of the more eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that we now have a new member in the band,His/hers/its name is Korg and as far as we can tell comes from Sweden!!,and as soon as we break the program language barrier you`ll be hearing more from him/her/it in the future.Kirk out..........
May18th-Just a brief one,Soss has gone to the Algarve for a week for a bit of the three s`ss,So time for a bit of thumb twiddlin and think about ideas for new songs.Hopefully we`ll have two new`ns in for the Farmers gig.TTFN.
Apr24th-Hey folks,Some top gigs played this month notably the Caroline at Hetton Le Hole and The Daisy Hill at Sacriston(See the review).Both new venues for us and two cracking nights we had,Cheers!!.Also worthy of a mention is our recent gig at the Princess Alice 22nd april.What a night and we played just short of 3 hours.Thanks again guys.Now(cue fanfare!!),we`ve had 2 new births in the band recently,mrs Axeman recently gave birth to a black Gibbo SG for me(7Ibs 4oz)and Traci after a very hard labour gave birth to a black Gibbo Thunderbird(16Ibs 2 oz).So this means i can now pretend i`m Tony Iommi and Trace can pretend she`s Nikki Sixx he he.On top of all this good news were also finally upgrading our p.a. as well.Phew.Bye for now.
Mar6th-Hi all,First of all thanks to Don and Kath for inviting us to play their wedding and everybody else that rocked the place with us(check out the photos page).A great night and i bet there were a fair few hangovers the next day.Also thanks to Simon at the Grand in Bishop Auckland for his hospitality.It was our debut there and right from the first number you could see everybody was up for it.We look forward to seeing you on sept 30th.
Feb2nd-Top Night at the Tap and Spile in Guisborough last night,Full to the rafters which was great to see and good fun was had by all.We hope to see you again there in the near future.
Jan23rd 2006-Hello folks,So here we are off and running in 06.Great gig at the station Loftus on Saturday,Very good fun and as it had been a while since we`d played there it was good to be back.One of the highlights for us was the debut of Space Oddity by Mr Bowie which went down really well.There are more new songs on the horizon which will be in a more rockier vein,Expect something along the lines of,Maiden,Mott The Hoople,Pearl Jam,Alice Cooper,Zep,Van Halen or maybe,just maybe even Rush!!!(NAH! they never play Bangkok).Bye for now......

Nov29th-Many thanks to all of you who came to see us at the Tap in Darlo on the 26th of nov.A top night and definately on of our best ever gigs despite being told at the last minute that we were now playing upstairs and it was a pay on the door job.Nevermind,a cracking night.Cheers!! Oct31st- The Band now has a brief break,while Al goes off to America,where he`ll be taking part in A chariteee gig and watching his fave band Kansas, in Kansas(CARRY ON MA WAYWARD SON!!).This will give the three of us a bit of stalling time to learn the whole of topographic oceans by Yes like we told him we would.I must buy a double neck,i must buy a double neck"Jaayynne!!! ".
